To be realistic, time is a factor when trying to schedule exercise, but out of 24 hours in a day, you should be able to find a way to take 30 minutes for yourself at least three-six days a week. I don’t like driving to a gym and my workouts can be done at home with the help of Beachbody programs. Three of my favorite fitness programs to do in 30 minutes or less are P90X3, Focus T25 and the 21-Day FIX.

Fitness Variety3. Find something you like. If you dread exercise you will find any excuse to get out of it. Try something different until you find something that you enjoy or at least feel good about doing. If you enjoy the work out and are getting a lot out of it, you will maintain motivation and the excuses will fade into the distant past!

Exercise variety may be the key to sticking to your workout regime. A study by the University of Florida at Gainesville found that doing the same form of exercise repetitiously increases your chances of giving up, but motivation may grow with exercise variety.

When you do the same type of exercise exclusively, your body builds certain specific strengths. By switching your activity mode, you broaden your physical abilities. There are physiological benefits as well as psychological benefits of having variety in your exercise program. Doing a different activity stresses the body in a new and novel way.

Whether you’re a beginning exerciser who needs help getting started or someone who wants to add some spice to your fitness routine, Beachbody offers a variety of fitness programs to choose from and I will help you choose the one that is best for you. Browse through my site and find the one program that get you excited once you find your program contact me and I will help you put a plan together. This is something I do personally and it keeps me on track like nothing else. It is so simple to look at your calendar, see where you have time and schedule your workout plan in just like your doctor appointment or haircut. This also helps to hold you accountable. Follow your schedule for at least one month. The results you’ll see after four weeks should be enough to keep you motivated.

5. Try an accountability group. Do YOU NEED a little extra motivation and accountability to help you reach your fitness goals? Do YOU WANT to surround yourself with like minded people who are working towards the same/similar goals as yourself? If you answered YES to either of these questions, Kevin Rack Fitness has a great program for you. Join our Team Fit Nation Challenge Group to help you stay accountable. Invite your friends and family to join you.

I hope these tips can help you work around your schedule to make exercise a priority. It’s your body and you only get one! Whatever your motivation, keep up the good work!
